The International Conference on the EU Cybersecurity Act has been developed to help standards community prepare for the evolution of risk-based frameworks meant to address market fragmentation in the EU.

The International Conference on the EU Cybersecurity Act will take place on March 24 online.

Secure-IC which has always played an active role in defining key security standards, supports the EU Cyber Act Conference as silver sponsor.

Sylvain Guilley, co-founder and CTO of Secure-IC, will give a conference on March 24th at 17:10 (CET) / 12:10 (EDT), entitled “Trusted Data as a sovereignty challenge”, in which he will demonstrate that trust in data is an essential prerequisite for the development of our digital societies. Technologies exist to guarantee the origin, integrity and confidentiality of data. Today, end-to-end security through heterogeneous infrastructures and complex lifecycles is a challenge because it encompasses several levels of activity and requires orchestration.

The EU cyber act is paving the way for uniform regulation in different industries and technologies. At Secure-IC, as an operator of “chip to cloud” cybersecurity solutions, we intend to leverage this European framework to strengthen sovereignty and transparency in the management of trusted data.

Sylvain Guilley will also moderate Track B12 from 15:40-17:10 (CET) on the following subjects:

  • ECSO’s Outlook on the EU Cybersecurity Act
  • The Next Cybersecurity Schemes in Europe, a Glimpse into the Future
  • BSI View on the EU Cybersecurity Act
